Our family

Then.
And now.

Mark and I met while we were in high school and we really disliked each other throughout all of those wasteful years. We had a few mutual friends and made it a constant game to torture one another. We both thought that each other were attractive, but we had such opposite personalities that it never would have worked back then. He teased me, I tried to make him look ignorant... Like I said, it was a constant game. Coincidentally, we both won our high school's "Most Artistic" titles our senior year.(See above.) After high school I became close with Mark's best friend Isaac and they lived together at the time so I was around Mark pretty often. In the summer of '09, he came over to my parent's place to spend time with me alone and we spent every night after that in each other's company. In February of 2010 he proposed, and we were married in May.

Mark and I are basically complete opposites. He loves video games and I would rather curl up with a book. He is very high strung and I'm more easy going (most of the time). He was a natural born performer, and I am way too shy. We both have a love for making music, but with not much else shared, it can be difficult to maintain a relationship. Mark and I don't take very many things seriously. We realize that we have grown-up responsibilities, but we are always laughing and joking with one another. He likes to dance with me around the house and sometimes he even helps with the cleaning. We have our ups and downs. We argue, we fight, we don't see eye to eye on a lot of things... but at the end of the day, I would rather argue with him than be happy with anyone else.

And this is little Miss Presley. She was born on October 15, 2008. She really is the light of my life! With large hazel eyes and wavy dishwater hair that grows longer every day, it is impossible to not fall in love with her. She has a natural love for art and music and she would rather read a book than play with a toy any day. She has melted my heart from the first glance and has made life much happier for her 'Daddy Mark'.
